CG KO CIGRE

Montenegrin National Committee of International Council on Large Electric Systems - CIGRE is independent, voluntary organisation dealing with national and international professional and scientific matters in the area of production, transmission and distribution of electrical energy, manufacturing of electrical equipment and issues relating to electric power systems.

Montenegrin National Committee CIGRE - CG KO CIGRE was founded on Assembly from 29.03.2008 and it maintains continuity of all previous activities of Montenegrin part of JUKO CIGRE by the year 2007.

Main objectives of CG KO CIGRE are:

  • execution of professional and scientific activities in the area of planning, construction and operation of electrical power systems, and in the area of manufacturing of equipment for those systems,
  • enhancement of electricity generation, transmission, distribution activities and manufacturing of electrical equipment, in professional, scientific and organisational area,
  • advance in professional position of members of CG KO CIGRE, in national and international terms.

In achieving its objectives, CG KO CIGRE particulary supports and develops exchange of technical information, experiences and makes initiatives for study of questions of interest for the Montenegrin electric power system and its elements.
